Site Engineer
Opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a privately owned civil contracting business with over 30 years trading history. The business specialises in land development projects and has multiple sites located throughout the Perth Metropolitan area (north and south of the river). Typical projects range in value up to $15m and include residential and industrial subdivisions. This is an opportunity for the successful candidate to advance their career within a booming sector of the civil construction industry.

The business specialises in land development projects and has multiple sites located throughout the Perth Metropolitan area (north and south of the river). Typical projects range in value up to $15m and include residential and industrial subdivisions. This is an opportunity for the successful candidate to advance their career within a booming sector of the civil construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Working alongside the project manager to proactively plan, manage, coordinate, track and run assigned project tasks.
- Provide project management services which are fit for purpose, practical, cost effective and ensure compliance with design, regulatory standards in addition to WHS and Quality standards.
- Attend relevant meetings to meet the needs of the role.
- Liaison, coordination and management of subcontractors, regulating bodies and relevant authorities.
- Prepare project take-offs, submit purchase orders as required and ensure products and materials are organised in a timely manner.
- Undertake site inspections.
- Prepare Variation Order’s and forward to the Project Manager as required.
- Provide continuous feedback to the relevant stakeholders to ensure you are maximizing project efficiency.
- All other tasks as instructed to fulfil the role requirements.
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- White card.
- Current Driver’s License.
- Hardworking and motivated, able to work as part of a team, willing to learn.
- Ability to undertake a pre-employment medical inclusive of drug and alcohol screening.
- Experience working on land development / subdivision projects involving road construction, earthworks, drainage and underground services.
- $90,000 - $100,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
