About The Role

As a Delegate Sales Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving attendance and commercial success across RX Australia’s flagship conference-led exhibitions. You’ll proactively engage decision-makers from top companies across Australia and New Zealand to sell delegate passes and boost event participation.

Reporting to our Sales Director, this is a permanent full-time opportunity with hybrid working available.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Delegate Sales – Sell delegate passes to targeted senior decision-makers across multiple events.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting – Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and engage new prospects.
  • CRM & Reporting – Maintain accurate records and track progress through our CRM system.
  • Market Insight – Stay across key industry trends to tailor your approach and add value to conversations.
  • Pipeline Activity – Meet daily outreach targets through calls, emails, and follow-ups.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years' experience in a sales role, ideally within the events, conferences, or exhibitions sector.
  • Comfortable with cold calling, and confident in building rapport and overcoming objections.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Degree-qualified or equivalent work experience.
  • Energetic, driven, and able to work independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Bonus points for experience selling B2B or within the corporate training, professional services, or media sectors.
