Your role at St John of God Social Outreach (SWCADS)
We are seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Bunbury team on a permanent part-time basis.
In this position, you will provide clinical support to clients and work collaboratively with GP in the provision of the Community Program for Opioid Pharmacotherapy (CPOP) and support clients in the program to access other programs via internal and external referral pathways.
The Position

In this position, you will provide clinical support to clients and work collaboratively with GP in the provision of the Community Program for Opioid Pharmacotherapy (CPOP) and support clients in the program to access other programs via internal and external referral pathways.
The Position
- Provides clinical support for the prescribing General Practitioner on duty.
- Works in collaboration with AOD Counsellors, where a referral to AOD counselling is considered appropriate.
- Demonstrates advanced clinical knowledge and skills in the completion of clinical assessments and effective risk management.
- In consultation with the Manager SWCADS, liaises directly with Community Program for Opioid Dependence (CPOP), dispensing pharmacies and other community agencies and general practitioners (GP) including coordination of scripts.
- Provides generalist counselling and support to clients accessing the Pharmacotherapy program.
- General clinical and administration duties associated with the Pharmacotherapy Program, including ensuring information is captured in client management system.
Successful applicants must hold a valid WA drivers licence and Working with Children card.
We can offer you
- Salary: $125,296 (pro-rata for part time) plus 12% Superannuation
- Permanent part-time, working 15.2 hours per week
