About The Role
Data Specialist
Reporting to the Manager of Optimisation and Contract Management, the Data Specialist ensures effective C&I data governance through cleansing, validation, and improvement initiatives. They manage AGL’s bespoke data contractual obligations and lead the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and tools. Crucially, they champion cultural change in data usage and governance across the business.

About The Role
Data Specialist

They manage AGL’s bespoke data contractual obligations and lead the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and tools. About The Role:
- Conduct regular data audits, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Manage contractual and reporting obligations across strategic customer portfolios.
- Maintain portfolio attributes and onboarding/offboarding checklists.
- Analyse data governance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and support C&I operational projects, collaborating with stakeholders to uphold compliance and best practices.
- Tenured experience in energy data governance with strong knowledge of frameworks, policies, and best practices.
- Proven ability to lead data initiatives, manage complex customer issues, and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement across cross-functional teams and all organizational levels.
- Proficient in analytical tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel) and SQL, with strong statistical and business analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail to drive operational and service efficiencies.
