The Opportunity


Immulab is an Australian-based manufacturer of life-saving diagnostic products supporting transfusion safety worldwide. Known for quality, innovation, and compliance, we are a leader in immunohaematology.


The PDP Manager is key to successfully delivering Immulab’s master production plan. This role oversees the daily management of a team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality product output. Responsibilities include providing strong leadership, coordinating workloads, addressing issues, and ensuring resources are available for equipment preparation, dispensing, labelling, and packaging across all manufacturing activities, including in-vitro diagnostic reagents.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and delivery of the Manufacturing Plan.
  • Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure the Master Production Schedule and Manufacturing Plan are consistently met.
  • Proactively identify and escalate opportunities to improve production scheduling.
  • Quickly escalate any issues that may impact the timely delivery of the work schedule.
  • Ensure batch and production documentation is completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain strict adherence to the Code of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Ensure all products meet required quality standards.


Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and drive process improvement opportunities across manufacturing using established methodologies.
  • Recommend and implement initiatives to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and cut costs by simplifying processes.
  • Lead change management projects from concept through to successful delivery.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating with and coaching key stakeholders.
  • Develop and recommend solutions to overcome operational constraints and performance challenges.
  • Support Visual Management and Team Huddles to enhance communication and track departmental KPIs effectively.


About You

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a scientific production setting
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of effective staff management
  • Solid understanding of cGMP and Quality Management Systems
  • Proficient in ERP systems, preferably SAP and Sample Manager
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
