Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cameras and select appropriate accessories based on production requirements.
- Make informed lighting choices and contribute to overall set design.
- Set up and manage on-location and studio audio recording.
- Assist with post-production workflow when required.
- Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and crew to meet production goals efficiently.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to both video and audio equipment.
- A strong passion for high production standards and a commitment to quality storytelling.
- The ability to think quickly and remain composed under pressure.
- A professional, team-oriented mindset, fostering productive relationships with reporters and producers.
- Minimal supervision requirements, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
- Experience in news and on-air operations is essential, along with a willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
- A valid unrestricted driver’s licence is required.
