About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with demonstrated skills in technology and environmental monitoring, to deliver Precision Ag soil sampling services provided by AGnVET to its customers in the Shepparton-Cobram region.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and deliver services such as crop scouting, sampling, monitoring equipment services, trapping, animal health services and trials.
  • Communicate between agronomists and farmers/clients to prioritise job activities and meet our quality and timeframe targets
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure high levels of efficiency are achieved and identify improvements for service delivery.
  • Attend industry events and maintain networks with relevant business groups both internally and externally.
  • Champion safety and compliance requirements by demonstrating duty of care and identifying and reporting all hazards within workplace.

About You

You will have a strong interest in agriculture and experience working with technology in horticulture. You love working with people with the aim to provide customers with solutions to address their needs. Ideally you will have experience in agriculture and experience in horticulture or similar field.

Other skills and experience will include Microsoft (Excel, Teams), Smartsheet, time management, problem solving skills and effective interpersonal skills.
