Your New Role

We have a 12-month max-term contract opportunity for an experienced professional to join the Operations Change team and support the delivery of regulatory changes. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operations Change the Manager, Regulatory Change Delivery will play a critical part in leading the delivery of new regulatory initiatives. They will be responsible for the smooth and timely implementation of smaller scale regulatory change for Member Operations and will be a key part of delivering larger scale regulatory changes within the broader business.

The Manager, Regulatory Change Delivery will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to analyse and understand new regulatory initiatives; assess the operational impacts; size and scope of those initiatives; determine implementation approaches and execute and operationalise the implementation in an accurate, robust and scalable way.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Working closely with Compliance & Operational Risk team to understand regulatory changes and identify what components of those changes impact Member Operations
  • For smaller scale changes, determining implementation approaches and actions and executing and operationalising the implementation in a timely, accurate, robust and scalable way. This involves leading the change end-to-end including development of implementation plan, managing dependencies and oversight of third-party implementation, and deployment
  • For larger scale changes, acting as a representative for Member Operations in the broader implementation working group
  • Ensuring stakeholder readiness for changes and embedding any new processes and controls into BAU with appropriate documentation. Recognising and managing change risk





What You'll Need


  • Deep experience in a related role (e.g. change management or operations within the superannuation, administration or financial services industries)
  • Proven experience managing regulatory change projects
  • Strong understanding of superannuation business activities, products, and associated regulations and obligations
  • Demonstrated ability to drive complex projects or initiatives, with the ability to manage priorities to meet specified timeframes
  • Proven capability to interpret complex information and use it to define tangible requirements with actionable steps, owners and timeframes
  • Familiarity with best practice project management principles
  • Developed written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly and accurately articulate information to all audiences
