SAP Integration Specialist

Our key State Government client is looking for a SAP Integration Specialist on a 6 Month initial engagment.

About the role:

Our client is going through a A two-year Finance Modernisation Program to transition from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud through a Greenfield implementation. The modernisation journey focuses on delivering modern services that are simple, convenient, and easy to access, with an emphasis on enabling customer self-service. As a key team member, you will deliver integration strategy and design services, leading the development of SAP BTP-based extensions to meet specific business needs.

Responsabilities:

• Develop and implement integration strategies, roadmaps, and designs using best practices.
• Support all phases of the project lifecycle to ensure successful integration migration.
• Provide guidance on cutover, integration testing, and post go-live support for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and SMEs to assess current integration patterns and design future-state solutions using fit-gap analysis and ISA-M scenarios.
• Promote reusable content like SAP integration packages, APIs, and flows; establish standards to streamline development and governance.
• Evaluate emerging SAP technologies (e.g., APO Management, Integration Advisor) to support scalable, flexible integration architectures.
• Maintain a central integration register to track solutions, ensure alignment, and drive visibility, reuse, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Deep expertise in technologies and processes across key corporate domains, including SAP BTP, ERP/SAP S/4HANA, HR systems like Aurion, integration platforms, API and event-driven architecture, data integration and transformation, as well as security and compliance best practices.
