We have offices in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide, this role can be performed from these cities or other Australian locations.
We’re offering a newly created—and rare—opportunity for a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our niche Metocean service line into new and exciting markets – shaping the future of Metocean within Fugro.

This is an autonomous role reporting to the Service Line Director – Metocean. You will be
- Proactive in growing the service line in offshore wind, infrastructure, ports & harbors and other government markets
- Working with internal service lines, including Hydrographic Survey to leverage business development opportunities
- Servicing existing clients in Perth and other locations as we expand the business
- Showing up as a supportive, senior member with our existing Metocean team
- Required to travel regularly to meet with existing and potential clients
About You

Your Success In Securing This Role Will Require
- Previous experience with Metocean services, oceanography, marine data, or offshore operations;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Oceanography, Marine Science, Environmental Science or a related field;
- Ability to assess market trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategy;
- Strong interpersonal skills in client interfacing, relationships management and proposals/tendering are highly beneficial;
- Ability to travel regularly.
