Manager - IT Risk and Compliance

Your Team
You will be part of the Colonial First State (CFS) Technology Line 1 IT Risk and Compliance Team which supports the Chief Operating Officer’s Extended Management Team. Line 1 IT Risk is a team of five general and specialist risk SMEs (i.e. technology, cyber and data risk, assurance, regulatory compliance management and risk advisory) supporting CFS Technology and the broader CFS business in the delivery of strategic outcomes within an effective risk culture.
Your Responsibilities
- Gathering and analyzing risk data (including KRIs, controls testing results, risk matters including breaches and audit findings) to identify, process and communicate actionable insights to Technology leadership to support tactical and strategic decision making. Usage of CoPilot to derive supporting insights is encouraged.
- Managing the remediation of issues and incidents with business stakeholders identified through audits and internal stakeholders.
- Provide technology risk advice to the CFS Business on procedural and risk management issues and identifying emerging trends from a risk perspective
- Maintaining strong professional expertise in risk management approaches Ensure data and information is up to date and accurate in the Risk Management System
Your Capability and Experience
- Good experience in financial services risk management, advisory or assurance fields with focus on controls, and/or issues/incidents/obligations and subsequent reporting, governance and/or monitoring.
- Strong problem solver and critical thinker who takes pride in absorbing information and turning them into actionable insights and outcomes.
- Ability to support and manage a large and varied stakeholder group at all levels of seniority across the business. Familiarity with APRA standards (including SPS/CPS220, 231, 232, 234 and upcoming CPS230)
