About the role – Full time

The People and Culture (P&C) Team supports Baptist Care SA’s purpose by delivering expertise across the employee lifecycle. As a P&C Business Partner, you’ll advise a specific portfolio on people matters, providing guidance on policies, legislation, and workforce issues to help leaders manage effectively and drive strong employee and client outcomes.


Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Provide professional, high quality, business-focused People and Culture service to a designated client group (portfolio)
  • Lead by example, promoting and facilitating a values driven workplace culture
  • Ensure the confidential provision of advice regarding informal and formal workplace practices


About you:

You’re a confident and approachable HR professional who thrives on building trusted relationships and making a positive impact. With a sound understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice, you’re comfortable providing advice and coaching to leaders. You enjoy working collaboratively, solving problems, and supporting a workplace culture where people feel valued and perform at their best.


You will also have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree or Post Graduate qualification in Human Resources or equivalent experience within a P&C Business Partner role
  • Previous experience working as a P&C Business Partner within a complex, multi-site location (strongly desired)
  • Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring leaders up to and including senior management level
