Accounts Payable Officer

We're looking for a confident Treasury & Accounts Receivable professional to lead a small team and provide expert financial advice.
In this role, you'll report to the Assistant Director and be responsible for day-to-day treasury operations, process improvements, and ensuring everything runs smoothly and in line with government policies.
Key responsibilities:
support a small finance team
Oversee Treasury and Accounts Receivable tasks
Provide advice and solve financial issues
Manage invoicing, reconciliations and reporting
Use systems like CBMS, TechnologyOne and Excel
Help improve processes and update policies
What we're looking for:
2+ years' experience leading finance teams
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Confident communicator
Understanding of government finance rules (like the PGPA Act)
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with finance systems and tech
Accounts Payable Officer, APS 4, Baseline security needed, Short term contract
