The Role

As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be embedded in the leadership team of a $600m+ division. Reporting directly to the Divisional General Manager and working in close alignment with the national finance function, you’ll deliver commercial insight, financial control, and forward-looking analysis that drives performance.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Leading divisional budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning cycles
  • Overseeing month-end reporting with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and speed
  • Creating and delivering performance packs to executive and finance leadership
  • Monitoring project delivery, capex spend, and milestone outcomes
  • Supporting bid and tender processes with financial modelling and commercial review
  • Building data-led insights through dashboards and scenario analysis
  • Identifying process gaps and championing continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

You’re a commercially focused finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, operational settings. You bring both technical depth and a strong business partnering mindset, and you’re comfortable being both in the weeds and at the strategic table.

Ideal Profile

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Proven track record in a similar commercial finance or senior business partnering role
  • Industry exposure in construction, civil, infrastructure, or industrial services preferred
  • Strong in financial reporting, budgeting, and decision-support analysis
  • Experienced working with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes
  • Resilient and agile — capable of operating in environments undergoing change
  • Confident navigating legacy systems and working across functions
