The financial analyst will support operations to deliver market leading products and drive finanical growth through insights and reporting. This role will collaborate with an experienced finance manager and work closely with business directors. A background in cost accounting or exposure to a manufacturing envrionment would be beneficial.
The Responsibilities
- Evaluating production cost structures, overhead allocations, and product profitability
- Champion KPI reporting across the business
- Provide accurate and timely managment reports to business unit leaders
- Collaborating with Finance, Operations, and Procurement to deliver actionable insights that guide strategic decisions
- Producing regular variance analyses, margin reports, and operational commentaries
- Assisting with system optimisations, reporting automation projects, and dashboard creation
- Assist with month end close and other accounting activities as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 2-5 years’ hands-on experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or commercial finance within a manufacturing or FMCG setting
- Exceptional analytical skills, with proven expertise in cost modelling, operational reporting, KPI reporting, and stakeholder partnership
- Advanced Excel skills - Vlookup, Pivottables, Powerquery etc.
- Strong communicator capable of building and maintaining effective relationships across multiple teams
