About The Role
Reporting directly to a dynamic and supportive CFO, this hands-on Financial Controller role will see you leading a small, capable finance team and partnering with senior stakeholders across the business. Key responsibilities include:

About The Role
Reporting directly to a dynamic and supportive CFO, this hands-on Financial Controller role will see you leading a small, capable finance team and partnering with senior stakeholders across the business. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations
- Ownership of month-end reporting, P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Managing compliance, tax, audit and FBT obligations
- Leading the annual audit process
- Overseeing fixed asset register and insurance policies
- Driving continuous improvement and team development
- Supporting strategic decisions through business partnering
- Ensuring data integrity within the ERP system
You Will Be a Commercially Minded Finance Leader With a Strong Technical Grounding And The Ability To Work Closely With Non-finance And SLT Stakeholders. The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- CA/CPA qualification
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within construction, projects or services-based environments
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with high attention to detail
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
