Data#3 is looking for a Security Solutions Architect who will be a subject matter expert with Microsoft technologies and solutions, experienced in Microsoft security components and Cloud security.


Why do we want you?

  • You have over 5 years’ experience in a technical cybersecurity with additional Security presales consulting experience preferred.
  • Security certifications and experience with a broad range of vendors, with a heavy bias towards Microsoft security solutions. Certifications such as MS-500 and AZ-500 a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft security solutions such as Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Purview, and Landing Zone design.
  • Experience working with cloud access security brokers (CASBs), and cloud and security governance tools.
  • Passion for technology and an insatiable appetite to learn, be challenged, and be flexible.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence both business and technical audiences.
  • Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Attention to detail, organisation, and follow-up skills are critical to this position.
  • Maintain vendor accreditations and certifications relevant to the Security Industry.


What will we ask you to do?

  • Responsible for designing and proposing Microsoft Solutions to meet customer's business objectives.
  • Lead broad security workshops to uncover customer requirements, with a focus on Microsoft security solutions
  • Responsible for supporting sales to drive the sales process of the solution, including identifying the opportunity, qualifying, making recommendations, and aligning next steps.
  • Ability to interface with multiple layers of contacts within an organisation, including but not limited to CIO, CSO, CISO, Security Directors, Security Admin, etc.
  • Advising clients on industry standards such as: Essential 8, PCI DSS, ISO, AESCSF, and NIST frameworks.
  • Create Proposals – Develop BOMs (Bill of Materials), Product Quotes, SOWs (Statements Of Work), At-a-glance documents, business cases and RFP responses.
  • Develop High Level Designs and Architectures – Create and document security architectures that address client business problems and can be used to ensure a smooth transition from presales to delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and client teams, to implement, test and transition security solutions to operational support, ensuring a focus on achieving the key delivery objectives.
  • Builds deep relationships and trust with customers and own the technical side of customer relationships.
  • Owns the technical relationships with strategic partners in the region.
  • Proficient in diverse areas of security such as: IDS/IPS, Public Cloud, Identity & Access Control, Firewalls, Application Security, Security Frameworks and compliance, Data Loss Prevention, Encryption, Web & Email security, and Emerging Security Trends.
  • Educate and develop sales teams on Security solution selling and key technologies.
  • Stay current on new technology, trends and market behaviour.
