Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Triage and action incoming HSW requests by providing personalised and strategic advice, coaching and support to colleagues and People Leaders regarding injury/illness/adjustment and risk management needs.
  • Proactively manage a caseload of disability, physical and psychological health cases, including coordination of referrals to Occupational Rehabilitation Providers where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to ensure a strategic and co-ordinated approach to prevention, illness/injury/reasonable adjustment management and proactive claims management.
  • Operate within SRC Act legislation as a Rehabilitation Delegate.
  • Build stakeholder relationships within aligned Business Unit/Enabling Units, and provide data driven insights/specialist insights to proactively identify and communicate trends and issues, and collaborate with HSW peers on solutions/initiatives to address these.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Allied Health e.g., Psychology (including organisational psychology), Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Ex Physiology, Social Work,
  • AHPRA or associate body registration
  • Sound knowledge and experience in coordinating support for complex physical/ psychological injuries (work and non-work related) and disability workplace adjustments.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Occupational Rehabilitation environment (or similar).
  • Sound understanding of risk management frameworks including for psychosocial risks.
  • Be able to think laterally and strategically with high level of assessment and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in workers compensation under State based legislation or Comcare.
  • Strong collaboration across diverse stakeholders promoting a culture of accountability and transparency.
  • Adept at building and maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Strong ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism, leveraging document management systems to uphold integrity and security.
