About this opportunity:

This is a true People and Culture generalist role, with exposure across all people areas within a hugely diverse workforce. Working directly with the Business Partner, People Partnering, you will partner specifically with our Building Services, Audio Visual, Business Services (Finance & ICT) and Live Events teams.

In this role, you will;

  • Partner with our Leaders across the business to provide advice, guidance, and support in their day-to-day operation across the whole team member life cycle.
  • Drive permanent recruitment, supporting hiring managers to source, select and retain their talent.
  • Provide advice and counsel on employee and industrial relations matters, including conducting workplace investigations and handling team member complaints or grievances in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Workers Compensation, managing claims and encouraging and coordinating the safe return to work of injured team members.
  • Collaborate and influence to implement best practice HR solutions, keeping up with industry trends and research.
  • Collaborate with the wider team on engagement, well-being, and diversity & inclusion initiatives & solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

You will be a true People and Culture generalist, who is approachable to all levels of the business as well as being adaptable and able to handle changing priorities and tasks. This is a fast-paced and highly varied role which requires a go-getter, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Ideally, you would have 2-4 years’ experience in a Human Resources generalist function with competency in most areas outlined above as well as a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related business discipline.

Experience working within the Hospitality/Events/Retail industry would be advantageous, however not essential.
