About the opportunities
As we move into the next phase of our strategy focusing on driving growth, unlocking digital and AI capabilities and deepening relationships with our customers. We have created two new GM positions in the Technology Divisional leadership team in the following domains:
- Product & Customer Platforms
- Platform & Enterprise Engineering
Here’s some high level info about each role:
General Manager – Product & Customer Platforms
Lead an engineering delivery function with a portfolio of technology products that directly impact customer experience and revenue generation. Accountable for the end-to-end engineering strategy execution and capability uplift across all segments and customer-facing technology platforms.
General Manager – Platform & Enterprise Engineering
Lead a function that drives an enterprise culture and practice of engineering excellence. Accountable for providing resilient internal platforms, as well as network and developer tooling.

In these roles you’ll get to…
- Collaborate with the Technology Leadership team to influence and devise appropriate technology strategy.
- Drive a change in culture to align with modern technology practices.
- Lead the domain to continually mature methods that ensure protection of the IT organisational assets, integrity, security and privacy of information.
- Provide enterprise thought leadership and guidance on best practice approaches to the Bank’s transformation agenda that enables valuable business and customer outcomes.
What you’ll bring to the role
To be successful you will have:
- Senior leadership background, with proven history of managing and developing large cross functional and agile teams of technology engineering resources.
- Extensive experience in leading enterprise transformational change and being a thought leader in the technology space.
- Demonstrated development of strategy and directing teams in the tactical execution against enterprise strategic frameworks.
- Experience in effectively managing budgets and be commercially savvy.
- Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders, including members of the Executive and Board across the enterprise.
