The Role You Could Play


As a Digital Analyst, you will use your expertise in web analytics and data storytelling to uncover insights that improve our digital customer experience, marketing performance, and omnichannel strategy. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse behaviour across MECCA’s platforms and help drive data-informed decisions using tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker Studio, and SQL.


You’ll also support tagging and tracking implementation, build scalable dashboards, and contribute to a strong data culture that empowers teams across product, marketing, and ecommerce to focus on what matters most.


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Delivering actionable insights to improve user experience and campaign performance
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards to track digital KPIs
  • Supporting tagging and tracking implementation using GA4 and GTM
  • Writing SQL queries for deeper analysis across platforms like BigQuery and Snowflake
  • Embedding analytics into agile squads and sprint planning
  • Championing data accuracy, governance, and stakeholder enablement


What You Will Bring


You have hands-on experience in digital analytics, preferably in eCommerce or retail, and are confident using tools like GA4, GTM, Tableau, and SQL. You enjoy turning complex data into clear, compelling insights and working in fast-paced, agile environments.


You will also be able to demonstrate the following:


  • Highly experienced and competent in web analytics tools, preferably Google Analytics
  • Experience in using Tag Management tools (preferably Google Tag Manager)
  • Experience in delivering and continually improving performance dashboards using tools such as Google Looker Studio and Tableau
  • Experience in data mining using SQL across platforms such as Big Query, Snowflake and other data platforms will is highly regarded
  • Experience in using qualitative research tools is highly regarded
  • Experience working in an agile environment is highly regarded


This role will suit someone with a proactive approach to developing new ideas, improvements and solutions with strong problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail. As well as the ability to multitask effectively, manage timelines, meet deadlines and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment.
