About The Role
Are you well organised? Do you have great people skills? Can you juggle multiple tasks? Do you have excellent all round administration skills? If so, we are looking for you to come on board.
Children’s Services is seeking dedicated and driven individuals to provide administration support to Council’s Children’s Centres. In this role, you will be based in Council’s Civic Centre and will assist with administration procedures, communication, receiving and recording of fees, enrolments, and other office procedures to enable the centres to run smoothly. You will need to demonstrate a thorough understanding of administration procedures and strong professional communication skills, particularly in customer service.
You will work across multiple channels including, face to face, phones and online. Our team prides itself on being vibrant, friendly, helpful, and professional. We offer an efficient and consistently high standard of service to our valued customers.
Essential
You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes, you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council, for review, in order to progress through the recruitment process.

Essential
- Strong administrative and computer skills and experience (including Microsoft Office programs)
- Commitment and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Experience and ability to analyse and provide solutions to complex problems efficiently.
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence
- TAFE Certificate in a relevant field
- Experience with Hubworks Administration Package
