About The Role

We are looking for a Children and Youth Case Manager to join our dedicated team in Karratha. Reporting to the Team Leader, you'll provide specialist support to children and young people who have experienced family violence — helping them feel safe and supported as they navigate their journey forward.

This role requires flexibility to be on-call and to work outside of standard hours (mornings and afternoons), as needed.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Award, level 5.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide case management and support to children and young people who have experienced family violence
  • Offer evidence-based, developmentally appropriate support in home, school, and community settings
  • Work closely with families, helping parents strengthen their relationships with their children
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety planning to ensure children’s wellbeing
  • Collaborate with key agencies and professionals to deliver holistic support
  • Contribute to a caring and professional team that is committed to making a difference

What You Bring

  • Experience working with children and families in a community service setting
  • A trauma-informed and client-centered approach to support
  • Strong communication and liaison skills to engage with families and partner agencies
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in case note writing and record management
  • A valid Working with Children Check, WA Driver’s Licence, and First Aid & CPR certification
  • A qualification in Social Work, Early Childhood, Counselling, Community Services, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
