The Role
You'll be focused on repairing and maintaining road transport equipment, working across welding, fabrication, hydraulics, and mechanical components. Every day looks a little different and you'll be part of a tight-knit, skilled team that takes pride in quality Australian-made workmanship.
Key Duties
- Construct, assemble and repair trailer body structures to spec
- MIG, TIG, and arc welding across various components
- Carry out mechanical and hydraulic repairs
- Custom trailer modifications (racks, ramps, doors, shelving etc.)
- Quality checks to ensure safety and compliance standards are met
- Australian-recognised Trade Certificate in Fabrication, Mechanical, or similar
- Proficient welding skills (MIG, TIG, arc)
- Experience in trailer repair, fabrication or servicing (ideal, not essential)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool confidence
- Police Clearance (within last 6 months)
- Early finish every second Friday
