We’re seeking a Business Automation Lead to build and lead automation efforts across support, compliance, and operations teams. This is a unique opportunity to shape this brand-new function from the ground up — you’ll lead the strategy, design, and delivery of automation solutions with full autonomy and the chance to build something truly impactful.
What You’ll Do
- Map, design, and automate manual workflows across departments
- Integrate systems such as Employment Hero, Xap, LineLeader, KinderM8
- Lead AI and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives (e.g., chatbots, voice-to-text)
- Manage vendor relationships and drive adoption of automation tools
- Collaborate with teams to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across departments to support change management and ensure positive adoption of new ways of working
- 5+ years’ experience in automation, operations, or transformation roles
- Experience with RPA tools like Power Automate or UiPath
- Strong knowledge of API-based system integrations
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects independently
- Bonus: experience in early learning, education, or regulated sectors
- Qualifications & Certifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related fields preferred
- Certifications in RPA tools (Power Automate, UiPath) advantageous
- Project management qualifications (Agile, PMP, Prince2) a plus
