Your role at St John of God Warrnambool Hospital

You will be committed to ensuring the hospital is cleaned and maintained to the agreed standards.

Applications will be considered for positions as they become available over the next six months.

The Position

  • Clean and maintain hospital to agreed cleaning standards.
  • All duties are carried out in accordance with the duty list.
  • Ensure privacy of patients is maintained.
  • Maintain safe environment for patient contributing to patient comfort needs.
  • Contribute to an efficient and timely patient discharge and admission process.
  • Participate in clean linen distribution and soiled linen removal

You will have an understanding of occupational safety and health practices, infection control and housekeeping protocols, whilst maintaining a high level of cleaning skills.

To succeed you will have the ability for prolonged standing and walking. You will also have the ability to manage manual handling and transportation and use of equipment.

The Benefits:

  • Salary $32.11 to $32.42 per hour (casual loading included) plus 11.5% superannuation
