Description

As a Data Analyst at Contour, you will play a pivotal role in our growth and expansion by consolidating, cleaning, and analysing data across the organisation. This full-time position is our first dedicated data hire, tasked with unlocking insights that drive decision-making across teams. Your work will directly support our mission to reshape education, one student at a time, by empowering the business with actionable intelligence, reporting, and data visualisation.

We empower students and their studies by providing an ecosystem of highly effective tutoring, resources and support. We run weekly small-group tutoring sessions at our in-person campuses, presented by young and experienced tutors that teach in a simple, intuitive and engaging way. We also supplement these sessions with weekly workshops, complimentary 1-on-1 support and a learning portal with a comprehensive suite of resources and practice material to help students master their subjects.

What You'll Do

  • Collect, clean, and consolidate data from various systems across the organisation.
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that support key business functions
  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Monitor data quality and ensure ongoing accuracy, consistency, and security.
  • Contribute to building a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organisation..

Experience Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years experience in a data analysis role, ideally within a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • Experience working with CRM and workflow platforms such as HubSpot and Monday.com to extract, analyse, and integrate data.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with statistical or programming languages such as Python or R is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets and deliver meaningful, actionable insights.
  • Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and reports for a variety of business users.

The Pay Range For This Role Is

90,000 - 120,000 AUD per year(Melbourne CBD)
