About the Role
Our Chelsea Heights site is located in Melbourne's south-east, manufacturing a range of more than 44 milk, milk-based beverages and cream products. The site currently produces around 110 million litres of product every year - processing, packing, and delivering 24 hours a day, six days a week.
Working across Warehouse and Logistics this Dairy Operator - Coolroom requires an experienced Forklift Driver to join the team. Ideally you will not only be an experienced Forklift Driver, but will have solid leadership experience (or at least the desire to become a leader) as well as computer skills and be able to work in the inventory planning space when required. So as you can see, there is plenty of opportunity to develop in this role.
This position works 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday - Hours are 8.00am and 4.00pm.
Responsibilities
- Loading /unloading of trailers
- Warehousing duties including operating a forklift
- Making safety a priority and championing a safety culture with the team
- Collection of stock from production lines and storing appropriately;
- Rotation of stock and ensuring the coolroom is clean and free from milk spills and waste accumulation
About you
- FMCG manufacturing and/or warehousing logistics experience
- Forklift (LF) licence and experience
- Can-do attitude, ability to work autonomously and a good team player
- Eager to take on other duties such as leadership roles
- Commitment to team work and safe working practices
