Finance Officer

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Finance Officer to join our team at Honeycombes Sales and Service in Townsville, Queensland. Based at the Townsville Truck Centre, this part-time role, 35 hours per week, offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of our dynamic company. Our ideal candidate will enjoy performing a variety of tasks and be a true team player who is committed to the success of our Finance team.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role
• Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy with financial data
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
• Ability to learn in-house software quickly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively
• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service

• Accounts payable functions for our John Deere franchise and other whole good franchises
• Accounts payable functions for other suppliers
• Liaising with sales staff regarding whole goods timing & payments
• Management and processing of company-wide fuel card accounts
• Factory receivables processing and reconciling
• Cash and cheque banking
• Bank statement processing & reconciliation daily
• General finance administration duties
