The Opportunity


Are you looking to kick-start your career in digital marketing? We’re on the lookout for an eCommerce Assistant to join our Client Services team in Sydney. This is a great role for someone who has a keen interest in digital advertising, eCommerce, or marketing.


In this role, you’ll support our Media Managers in running media campaigns for big-name brands across platforms like Amazon and other retail media networks.


What You Will Do


  • Campaign Creation: Developing campaign strategy and launching advertising campaigns on behalf of our clients
  • Campaign Management: Utilising Flywheel's proprietary technology to drive the ongoing optimization of the advertising campaigns and drive towards the client's KPIs
  • Campaign Reporting: Developing and managing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, analytics, and performance insights for our clients
  • Strategic Consulting: Serving as an on-call consultant to dig into every Amazon challenge via emails, calls, in-person meetings, and reports for our clients
  • Ecommerce Trends: Monitoring industry news and platform changes, flagging potentially relevant updates for clients to broader Flywheel team to identify implications and recommended action



Who You Are


  • Some experience in digital media or advertising (especially Amazon) is a plus but not required.
  • Detail-oriented and good at managing tasks and priorities.
  • Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets (basic Excel skills like formulas and pivot tables are helpful).
  • A problem-solver who’s ready to take initiative and figure things out.
  • Able to work independently and manage your time well to meet deadlines.
  • A team player with strong communication skills who enjoys helping both teammates and clients succeed.
