Reporting into the Tenders Manager, the new Tender Writer (“TW”) will be based at our Notting Hill head office in Victoria, enjoy flexibility, and have the option of hybrid working. The TW is to play a crucial role in crafting compelling, accurate, and compliant tender responses that align with Draeger’s strategic goals.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Produce compelling responses to tenders the meet customer needs and highlight Draeger’s value proposition;
  • Assist in the collation and formatting of supporting company information for submissions;
  • Develop, maintain, and regularly review and update a centralised content library;
  • Implement content governance practices and drive best practice for tenders;
  • Engage and collaborate with experts and cross-functionally for input and approvals;
  • Support the coordination of tender submissions including timing, documents, and stakeholders;
  • Facilitate review and feedback sessions to refine tender responses;
  • Quality checks and peer reviews of tender documents;
  • Track and report on tender outcomes, conversion ratio, and feedback;
  • Analyse trends to improve future content and submissions;
  • Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and;
  • Always ensure a safety-first approach.


The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following attributes:


  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related (desirable);
  • Proven experience in tender writing or bid management (preferably in the healthcare or technical industries);
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, and ability to write persuasively;
  • Well versed with content management systems and document automation tools;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tender management platforms;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively;
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing;
  • Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn;
  • Exemplary understanding of compliance rules, with a proactive mindset and the ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards, and;
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, interpersonal, communication, organisational, and task management skills.
