What the role looks like
As a Senior Analyst Investment Implementation, and reporting to the Manager Investment Implementation you will be a key contributor in the following areas:
- Contributing to the implementation of the investment strategy and targets through rebalancing and overlay management
- Co-ordination of investment transitions as required, including any actions required to facilitate the planning and execution of transitions and transactions
- Assisting with facilitating transactions and reporting of the Fund’s cash balances and cash investment
- Contributing to the preparation of instructions and ideas for trade execution across the investment program
- Assisting with transaction efficiency monitoring, analysis and improvement opportunities
- Assisting with the maintenance and reporting of the Fund’s securities lending program
- Conducting analysis and preparing reports relating to the Fund’s derivative arrangements, ensuring adherence to relevant agreements, contractual terms and policies
- Preparing and maintaining documentation associated with the Fund’s investments and processes as required
Who are we looking for?
We’re on the lookout for passionate individuals who embody our values. If you have the following, we want to hear from you:
- Excellent knowledge of investment markets, trading and execution, with a focus on driving return through excellence in implementation
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and an ability to understand complex workflows
- Experience in an implementation or related function
- Sound knowledge of financial instruments, experience with derivatives
- A collegiate approach suitable to working inclusively in a small team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A good understanding of the superannuation industry
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work both cross-functionally and autonomously
- Relevant tertiary qualifications required with post graduate further studies viewed favourably
