About the Role
As the Marketing Manager - WikiCamps you will take ownership of our marketing strategy and execution across digital, social, CRM, and B2B channels—working cross-functionally to deliver impact quickly and at scale. We’re looking for high-energy and a hands-on approach to embrace our fast-growing digital platform. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited by the opportunity to drive real growth.
This newly created role will be at the forefront of this journey, steering the strategic direction, commercial growth, product evolution and operational excellence of the business. Your leadership will be instrumental in scaling our digital platform, enhancing customer engagement, and driving innovation in a rapidly evolving industry.
This role offers the chance to make a profound impact on the future of travel experiences, blending entrepreneurial spirit with the resources to bring bold ideas to life. If you're ready to lead a dynamic team and shape the next chapter of digital travel, this is the role for you.
Key responsibilities of the role will include -
Marketing Strategy and Execution
- Oversee the development and implementation of the WikiCamps marketing strategy that aligns with business goals, audience needs, and platform growth objectives.
- Work cross-functionally with CRM, digital performance, eCommerce and content teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns across the full customer journey.
- Accountability for overall effectiveness of WikiCamps marketing with clear leadership and decision making to always drive value
Market Proposition and brand positioning
- Lead market proposition development to ensure the brand and platform are distinctively positioned to win against competitors.
- Oversee regular deep dives into customer insights, trends, and behaviours to guide marketing, content, and product development strategies.
Social Media & Content
- Develop and manage the social media strategy, including planning, content creation, community management, and performance reporting.
- Create engaging, on-brand content to build community and drive organic growth and platform visibility.
- Track and optimize social performance to improve reach, engagement, and conversion.
B2B & Partner Marketing
- Lead B2B marketing efforts for accommodation partners—engaging both prospective and existing partners with targeted communications, campaigns, and events.
- Work closely with the sales and supply teams to create marketing materials and initiatives that support partner acquisition and onboarding.
Product Supply Growth
- Partner with internal supply teams to support and execute strategies that lift the volume and visibility of bookable accommodation products on the platform.
- Develop and deliver marketing initiatives that help partners list, optimise, and promote their products effectively.
Skills & Experience
To excel in the role you will be a hands-on marketer who’s ready to execute and experiment, not just strategise. You will be comfortable digging into customer data and research to uncover insights that drive smarter decisions. You will have excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with speed and focus. A great collaborator who thrives in a cross-functional team environment and the ability to test, learn, and iterate quickly—applying a performance mindset to all marketing activities. Suitable tertiary qualifications for this role include a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field, which will provide the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in this position.
Whilst technical proficiency is important to the role, you will also need to demonstrate exceptional leadership and digital innovation skills. You will possess the attitude, soft skills, and capability to engage with a broad range of business stakeholders. Your high level of energy, self-motivation, autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail will be crucial in meeting the business demands at G’day Group.
