Lead a high-performing team driving digital media strategy, execution, and optimisation across a portfolio of brands. Own media investment and deliver against business KPIs. Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams to develop data-driven strategies that maximise ROI. Bring deep expertise in digital media and technology, and translate insights into impactful action.

What you'll do

  • Lead media strategy development for your portfolio of brands, in collaboration with agency and ad technology partners.
  • Pioneer usage of 1st data within Performance Marketing channels.
  • Manage paid digital media channels ($10M+ Spend) - including programmatic, paid social, SEM, display, native, video, and sponsorship.
  • Achieve customer acquisition, customer retention, and revenue targets set for your portfolio of brands.
  • Ensure all campaigns are implemented with accuracy, undergoing quality assurance processes, and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
  • Identify portfolio investment opportunities and negotiate directly with suppliers to secure desirable outcomes.
  • Champion experimentation within your team by utilising 1st and 3rd party data to identify core opportunities for improvement across strategies, optimisation, and measurement.
  • Enhance existing media strategy and planning frameworks, further developing collateral, templates, frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with brand, personalisation, and CXI teams to ensure audience, technology, and branding advancements are incorporated into campaign planning and implementation.
  • Work with Head of Performance marketing to identify new channel, automation, or technology opportunities that will increase the return of marketing investment for The Lottery Corporation.
  • Work with the Head of Performance to integrate learnings from our Market Mix Modelling into strategies and embed scenario planning into campaign processes.
  • Develop a team of at least 3 direct reports, ensuring key review milestones are actioned throughout the year.


What you'll bring

  • An ability to problem solve and prioritise your work.
  • Ability to synthesise data into strategy.
  • Ability to critically analyse current practices and identify areas for improvement.
  • Experience scoping and implementing new ad technology.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Very strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to build and foster collaborative relationships.
  • Ability to motivate self and others.
  • At least 6 years' experience managing and operating Google Ads campaigns.
  • Experience in digital media strategy, planning and buying.
