Contract type: Contractor
We partnering with a state owned financial services business to find a talented digital designer for a 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a new sub-brand targeting government audiences, and to work closely with internal stakeholders to produce engaging and effective collateral.

You’ll be joining a team that values creativity, collaboration, and precision — with a supportive environment that balances structure with design flair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of a new sub-brand by creating compelling collateral in line with brand and government visual guidelines.
  • Design assets including PowerPoint templates, infographics, letterheads, social media graphics, and printed materials.
  • Apply brand consistency across all materials, assisting teams across the business to use Microsoft Office templates effectively.
  • Manage content updates across key platforms including WordPress (website), SharePoint (intranet), and Campaign Monitor (EDMs).
  • Play a key role in supporting the uplift of a major website project by coordinating content, testing, and publishing.
  • Help drive UX improvements and ensure digital content is optimised for clarity and accessibility.
  • Assist in the development of internal communication materials including presentations and event collateral.

About You:

You are a detail-oriented designer with a self-starter mindset. You enjoy bringing structure to creative projects and take pride in producing polished, effective work. You thrive in fast-paced environments, work well independently and in teams, and are comfortable navigating government or corporate brand standards.

Skills & Experience:

Necessary:

  • 3+ years in a similar role within communications, marketing, or design
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Word).
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress and SharePoint.
  • High attention to detail and excellent written/verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of design thinking and UX principles
  • Experience with video editing or motion graphics
  • Background in government or financial services (a plus, not a must)
