Step into a high-impact leadership role as the right-hand to the PMO Director, where you’ll play a key role in shaping and launching new PMO capabilities. With a Hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role a permanent position and is based in Southbank, Victoria and is part of the Digital and Technology team.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the portfolio, ensuring lasting operational enhancements.
- Develop and optimise end-to-end processes and frameworks, aligning strategy with seamless execution.
- Craft and deliver compelling presentations and reports tailored for C-level stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify operational efficiencies, widely sharing key insights and successes.
- Shape the PMO roadmap, mentor team members, and set priorities as the second-in-command to the PMO Director.
- Lead strategic analyses, providing actionable insights to support informed executive decision-making.
- Offer essential analytical support to ensure project objectives are successfully met.
- Work collaboratively across the organisation and the Group PMO to demonstrate the PMO’s value, reinforcing its role in advancing AusNet’s near-, medium-, and long-term growth strategy.
You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
- 5+ years of experience in project management, digital transformation, consulting, or strategic roles.
- Expertise in navigating complex delivery and governance challenges, ensuring business value and operational excellence.
- Proven ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholder groups, including delivery partners, business leaders, and executive management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, adept at presenting insights through clear, data-driven storytelling at senior management level.
- Technical proficiency in Advanced Excel (complex formulas, data modeling, and automation via VBA/macros), PowerBI (interactive dashboards, data models, and DAX calculations), and PowerPoint (creating high-impact executive presentations with compelling narratives and visuals).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Emergency Response: Customers and community are at the heart of everything we do.
