What's on offer?
As a result of continuing growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accommodation & Onboarding Administrator to join our Rockhampton Ring Road project based in Rockhampton, Queensland. This role will focus on managing accommodation arrangements, facilitating site onboarding processes, and acting as the key liaison with Human Resources to ensure all project personnel are smoothly integrated and supported on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise closely with the Corporate Travel Coordinator to ensure all travel bookings align with project requirements and timelines.
- Coordinate with property agencies to attend inspections and secure lease agreements for new starters opting for Company-Provided Housing, ensuring availability meets forecasted start dates and site mobilisation plans.
- Manage vendor relationships, including property agencies and suppliers of furnishings, appliances, and other household essentials.
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to facilitate lease agreements through the correct internal processes, acting as the main point of contact between Finance and external property agencies.
- Support Human Resources with staff accommodation allocations and assist in managing minor employee-related concerns or requests, referring more complex cases or those requiring additional support to HR.
- Assist with onboarding tasks, including coordinating uniform orders and first-day logistics in collaboration with the HR team and ensure new starters have submitted the necessary documentation and are enrolled in required training and inductions. This will also include maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of New Starters mobilisations, accommodation assignments, lease agreements, and onboarding progress.
We are seeking a resilient and self-motivated self starter with great organisational skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously through effective communication skills. You will be able to work autonomously as well as cohesively as part of a team to efficiently manage end-to-end administration tasks and are ready to embark on an exciting career within the Construction industry. This position will offer support and learning for the right candidate to ensure that they are setup for success.
