Join us at The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne, where we craft unforgettable experiences and champion a culture of excellence. We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Supervisor to lead overnight operations, ensuring the highest standards of service and safety are consistently delivered.

As the Overnight Supervisor, you will:

  • Oversee all property operations during the overnight shift in the absence of the Night Manager and broader leadership team.
  • Represent property management in handling and resolving any guest or operational concerns.
  • Personally assist in managing issues and completing key overnight tasks to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Monitoring Property Operations:

  • Supervise overnight activities, including late-night arrivals and early departures.
  • Reconcile daily audits in collaboration with the Finance team.
  • Ensure all overnight operations are compliant with brand and procedural standards.
  • Monitor departmental supplies and maintain a safe and secure working environment.
  • Support inventory counts and contribute to meeting guest satisfaction and employee engagement targets.
  • Monitor overnight employee performance and uphold service standards.

Supporting Profitability & Revenue Goals:

  • Review and analyze financial data to identify operational improvements.
  • Address guest issues with empathy and efficiency, ensuring lasting resolutions.
  • Monitor chargebacks, rebates, and discrepancies to reduce financial loss.
  • Enforce cash-handling protocols and investigate variances.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to implement corrective action plans where necessary.

About You:

  • Experience with OPERA property management system or similar
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • A valid Driver's License is required
  • Full Working rights in Australia
  • Enthusiastic to escalate your career
  • Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment
  • Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior luxury hotel experience would be preferable
