The Hunter Street Precinct is home to some of Hobart’s most memorable hospitality and tourism experiences – from premium waterfront dining to tailored events and curated group bookings. At the heart of our offering is a commitment to creating lifelong memories through Care, Connection and Consideration.
We are now taking applications from current team members for the role of Reservations & Conference and Events Coordinator. This position is pivotal in delivering seamless experiences for our guests — from expertly coordinated events to perfectly planned group dining reservations, as well as keen operational understanding of our outlets through lived experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence both the administrative and operational success of our venues and will work closely with venue managers, the broader F&B team including our Sales team, and our guests to bring exceptional experiences to life.
Our successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A passion for guest service and the ability to anticipate and deliver on guest needs.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and planning capabilities
- Confidence in managing event and reservation systems and communicating logistics.
- An authentic, professional and calm presence in a dynamic environment.
If you’re ready to step into a leadership role that balances front-of-house finesse with back-of-house coordination — and you’re excited by the opportunity to train, coach and elevate the experience for guests and teams alike — this could be your next step.
As the Reservations & Conference and Events Coordinator, you can also expect to receive:
- Ongoing learning and development, including facilitation of SPOT training and onboarding for new team members,
- Direct engagement with event clients, external suppliers and F&B leadership,
- Opportunity to work with multiple leadership teams and outlets across the precinct,
- Federal Group employee benefits including access to internal career opportunities, internal and external discounts, staff meals, and more!
If this sounds like the right move for you, we’d love to hear from you.
