Position Purpose: The Credit Portfolio Manager position is a key member of our rapidly growing team. This role focuses on managing the overall existing loan book and all underlying clients. It is fast-paced and multi-faceted, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth operations.

Position Purpose: The Credit Portfolio Manager position is a key member of our rapidly growing team. This role focuses on managing the overall existing loan book and all underlying clients. It is fast-paced and multi-faceted, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of the existing portfolio and identify and resolve any potential issues with positions or clients.
- Manage all portfolio changes, including interest rate changes, repayments, and missed payments, ensuring smooth running of the portfolio.
- Work with the borrower origination team on new clients and transactions to maintain high standards as the portfolio grows.
- Identify process improvements and opportunities to enhance customer experience and customer return.
Person Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in credit management.
- Knowledge of the Australian alternative investment market (preferably RG146 compliant).
- Knowledge of private credit is beneficial.
- 5-10 years of experience in relationship management, credit, and credit analysis in financial services.
- Experience in non-bank lending is beneficial, with a deep understanding of credit and settlement processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and clients.
- Experience in presenting data analysis to management.
- An undergraduate degree is considered an advantage.
- Postgraduate qualifications will be valuable.
