We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst who is passionate about delivering insanely great products and solutions to our customers and their communities. Working with us as a DxP Local Government (LG) Senior Business Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of our vision to deliver an exceptional community experience for the LG sector, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify, capture, and translate requirements into innovative business outcomes for our products.

A Senior Business Analyst at TechnologyOne is actively involved in capturing new business requirements and communicating them with the development team. They support the team through the analysis, review and documentation of product functional and technical requirements that delight our customers.

What you'll be doing…

  • Develop and demonstrate understanding of the product - its features and functions, legislative and compliance constraints and regional or industry flavours.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner, Customers and Development team throughout the development process to write user requirements, test cases and other content to represent customer requirements using defined design methods
  • Contribute to the design of new features, and work with the Development team to break the design down for manufacture
  • Participate in workshops with internal and external Customers to confirm the product design meets customer requirements
  • Conduct Business Acceptance Testing, specifically, a non-exhaustive set of functional tests of the most important business functions to validate the business functions meet customer requirements as designed and that the software is of sufficient quality and stability to proceed with further downstream testing, namely no known Critical or Urgent issues
  • Depending on team requirements, conduct functional QA and regression testing from time to time
  • Work with the Product Success team to develop required enablement content to support the rollout and adoption of Product by both our internal and external Customers
  • Participate in presentations and forums to inform and educate stakeholders in new product features


Your Talents…

  • Relevant degree and/or industry experience
  • Practical knowledge and experience with product modules, features, functions, and compliance requirements, preferably with TechnologyOne products.
  • Familiarity with industry best practice analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience in facilitating workshops and group discussions.
