We are seeking a Senior Regulatory Approvals Advisor to join our INPEX Corporate Affairs team in Perth. Join us in helping shape a brighter energy future.

About You

You’re an experienced regulatory approvals professional with a deep understanding of statutory approvals within the Australian jurisdiction. You're known for your attention to detail, proactive problem-solving and ability to navigate complex legislation and regulatory processes. You are confident working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and enjoy influencing outcomes through expertise, clarity and collaboration.

You Also Bring

  • A relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Proven experience in coordinating approvals processes, preferably in the energy, infrastructure, or resources sector.
  • Strong understanding of Australian legislation, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear, timely regulatory advice.
  • Familiarity with compliance systems and strong Microsoft Office skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing Approvals Plans tailored to specific scopes of work.
  • Researching and interpreting legislation to identify required approvals and timelines.
  • Preparing and coordinating approval documentation to meet statutory and project deadlines.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with government regulators and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitoring compliance, maintaining internal databases, and reporting on performance.
  • Contributing to a positive, high-performing team culture within the Corporate Affairs function.
