The ideal applicants will be confident communicators who can handle complex enquiries independently. They should also be skilled at managing difficult client interactions while maintaining compliance with departmental policies and procedures.

The role
- Provide courteous, efficient, and professional front counter service, including customer interviews, enquiries, collections, and document legalisation
- Support concierge duties, administrative tasks, and respond to phone enquiries
- Communicate effectively with the public, colleagues, and management
- Conduct quality assurance checks on documents before and after printing
- Handle high-value, high-risk inventory securely and manage document spoilage and destruction in line with policy
- Assist with stocktakes of supplies
- Operate printers and laminators, including performing basic maintenance
- Perform high-speed, accurate data entry, scanning, and document processing
- Manage personal workload independently to meet performance targets
- Complete general administrative duties such as records management, inbox monitoring, processing invoice payments, and liaising with stakeholders on refunds and returned documents
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve operational objectives
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating empathy and emotional intelligence
- Strong problem-solving abilities, using sound judgement and risk awareness
- Flexible and adaptable in responding to shifting priorities
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and sense of urgency
- Positive and resilient attitude, with a focus on delivering results under pressure
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Proficient in using business systems and technology to support service delivery
- Capable of interpreting and applying legislation, policies, and procedures
- Mature, responsible, and reliable approach to work
