Salvos services go beyond addressing the core issues and challenges associated with problematic substance abuse and provide participants a place of hope, compassion, and dignity to recover safely.
About The Role
As an AOD/Mental Health Clinician, this is your opportunity to support young people aged 12–25 through the innovative HeadFyrst program, delivering specialised psychological therapy for co-occurring AOD and mental health concerns. Reporting to the Program Coordinator this is a Permanent Part Time role, located in Bankstown.

About The Role

How You Will Make An Impact
- Conduct psychosocial and mental health assessments
- Work with young people to develop personalised treatment plans based on their individual goals.
- Deliver evidence-based support, using approaches such as CBT, harm minimisation, and psychoeducation.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with young people, their families, and support networks.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and connect clients to other relevant services.
- Provisional Registration or Full Registration with AHPRA Psychology Board
- Experience providing effective, evidence-based therapy to clients.
- Current Drivers licence
- Able to use good clinical judgement to choose and deliver the right assessments and treatments.
