We’re currently seeking an experienced Long-Term Planner to develop, manage, and optimise mid to long-range maintenance strategies for fixed plant assets. This role will contribute to forward-looking work management processes, ensuring asset reliability and alignment with business objectives.

We’re currently seeking an experienced Long-Term Planner to develop, manage, and optimise mid to long-range maintenance strategies for fixed plant assets. This role will contribute to forward-looking work management processes, ensuring asset reliability and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain medium to long-term maintenance plans for fixed plant operations
- Identify, scope, and forecast major maintenance events, asset strategies, and shutdown requirements
- Collaborate with engineering, reliability, and operational teams to ensure long-range plans align with business priorities
- Analyse asset performance data to inform proactive planning and risk mitigation
- Work closely with site-based short-term planners to ensure seamless execution of planned work
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in planning systems, master data, and preventative maintenance frameworks
- Mechanical trade background or similar hands-on site experience
- Proven experience planning in fixed/process plant industries (not mining-specific roles)
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC6 or S/4HANA EAM from a planner, leading hand, or equivalent role
- Demonstrated understanding of the difference between planning and scheduling
- Comfortable working predominantly on site in a collaborative team environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills across disciplines
- Work directly with high-profile clients in the resources sector
