Senior Payroll Officer

Talent International, a leading Australian recruitment firm, have been engaged by our long-standing client, a leading entertainment destination, are seeking an experienced aSenior Payroll Officer for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Opportunity: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Parental Leave Cover)

Location + WFH Flexibility: Sydney CBD with WFH flexibility

Salary: $110,000 including super

Start Date: ASAP – Immediate availability preferred

Role Details

• Join a team of 10 Payroll professionals supporting a high-profile entertainment organisation
• Responsible for end-to-end payroll processing (monthly and fortnightly), including terminations and onboarding of new starters
• Maintain accuracy of payroll data and handle employee requests related to superannuation, tax file numbers, and general payroll queries
• Work with SAP Payroll Control Centre and ensure compliance with internal controls and legislative requirements
• Part of a stable and collaborative payroll team undergoing some restructuring
  
  

Required Skills And Experiences

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in payroll processing (3-5 years ideal)
• Proven experience with SAP Payroll, specifically Payroll Control Centre
• Strong understanding of payroll processes including terminations, superannuation adjustments, and onboarding
• Ability to handle high-volume processing with accuracy and professionalism
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Based in Sydney with the ability to be onsite full-time initially
