Tennis World Melbourne Park and Albert Reserve is a world class facility offering a variety of programs and services including cardio tennis, social competitions and coaching for all ages and all abilities. Our programs open many doors in growing grassroots participation and offers a fantastic range of programs that combines tennis, fitness and fun into the one.

We now have the opportunity for an experienced Tennis Coach to join our team and deliver the highest quality coaching service to players of all ages, abilities and levels.

About The Role

Reporting into the Head Coach – Melbourne Park and Albert Reserve, in this role you will:

  • Strive to deliver the best coaching possible.
  • Aim to promote a quality and enriching coaching experience for each student, each lesson.
  • Actively involve all students on court and identify areas for improvement or skill development.
  • Lead by example on and off the court and display the standards, expectations and behaviours expected of our coaching team
  • Provide strong communication to coaching participants both on and off the court and ensure correct communication procedures are followed.
  • Attend regular meetings and relevant training sessions.


About You

What you will bring to the role: 

  • Tennis Australian coaching registration–maintained and updated regularly.
  • Tennis Australia Development Coach (Level 1) or the commitment and ability to acquire a Development Coach (Level 1) qualification within 12 months.
  • Min 2 years Tennis Coaching experience.
  • Experience working with all ages and abilities (e.g. pre-schoolers through to adults).
  • Senior Level 2 First Aid.
  • You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
