Financial Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic Financial Analyst to join our team. This role is to support the finance team effectively by delivering accurate management reporting and insights through the provision of meaningful, standardised reporting and detailed analysis.
Your role:
- Financial Reporting - Prepare accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reports to support decision-making and ensure compliance.
- Performance Evaluation - Assess the organisation's financial health by analysing key metrics, including profitability, liquidity, and efficiency ratios.
- Trend Analysis - Identify and interpret patterns in financial data over time to support strategic planning.
- Variance Analysis - Analyse deviations between actual financial results and budgeted or forecasted figures to understand underlying causes.
- Profitability Analysis - Evaluate the financial performance of business units, products, or services to inform resource allocation and pricing strategies.
- Risk Assessment - Identify and evaluate financial risks such as market, credit, and operational risks to support proactive risk management.
About You:
- Experience in financial modelling and analytical reporting
- Experience working with charge-back/cost-recovery/show-back models
- Experience in preparing, monitoring and reporting of annual and project budgets
- Knowledge and Experience using budgeting and planning tools, and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with budgeting and Management reporting processes, including preparation of internal Management reports
- Knowledge of Management accounting methodologies
- Experience with BI applications, preferably PowerBI
