The Company

BCI Minerals Limited (ASX:BCI) is an Australian owned mineral resources company with salt and potash as its initial focus. A future Tier One project, Mardie has been designed to produce 5.35Mtpa of high-purity salt and 140ktpa of Sulphate of Potash (SOP).


Using an inexhaustible seawater resource and 99% of the energy required produced by natural solar and wind energy, our Mardie project is a multi-generational sustainable opportunity that will supply the growing chemical, renewable energy, and agricultural industries with Salt and Sulphate of Potash for generations to come.

The Role

Reporting to the Manager ICT, the Specialist ICT Infrastructure will design, implement, and support secure, reliable, and enterprise-scale IT, Operational Technology (OT), and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions aligned with business needs. The ideal candidate will effectively manage the IT Managed Services provider to ensure high customer satisfaction through cost-effective service delivery. Additionally, they will lead the organisation’s cybersecurity initiatives, including implementing and testing system controls and educating staff on cybersecurity best practices.


About You:

We are looking for an experienced ICT Infrastructure Specialist with a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, and 5–7 years’ experience in managing and implementing technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering and supporting enterprise IT/OT/IoT systems, with broad technical expertise across cloud and on-premise infrastructure, networks, virtualisation, security, and operational technologies such as PLC and SCADA.


Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including the ASD Essential 8 Maturity Model, is essential, along with practical experience in disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and managing outsourced IT providers to defined SLAs. Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, ITIL) and vendor qualifications (particularly from Cisco and Microsoft) are highly regarded, as is experience in the mining or resources sector. Proficiency with tools like Visio, Excel, and project management software is also required.


The successful candidate will be required to provide a national police clearance that is not older than 3 months.


You must have current unrestricted working rights for Australia to be eligible for consideration.
