Your Next Role!
The Senior Learning and Development Officer (Instructional Design) (SLDO(ID)) is responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive learning and development programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and capabilities across Richmond Fellowship Queensland (RFQ). The SLDO(ID) will operate primarily within the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) model.
This is a fantastic opportunity to commence in a revitalised role which will help enhance the profile of the L&D function, whilst positively contributing to a changing and growing organisation.
To be successful, you will:
- Analyse - understand learning needs and align them with organisational goals.
- Identify learning needs and align them with organisational goals by collaborating with managers and SMEs, analysing data, and supporting future workforce capability.
- Design - translate identified needs into structured and effective learning solutions.
- Design inclusive, learner-centred learning solutions aligned with adult learning principles and diverse learning styles.
- Develop - create learning assets and resources that bring designs to life.
- Develop high-quality, accessible learning materials using industry tools and LMSs, ensuring consistency and alignment with organisational standards and learner needs.
- Implement - support the rollout and integration of learning solutions.
- Coordinate end-to-end implementation of learning initiatives under EMPE guidance, managing timelines, stakeholders, and delivery while supporting facilitators and workforce participation.
- Evaluate - measure impact, gather insights, and inform continuous improvement.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness using feedback and performance data, applying frameworks like the Kirkpatrick Model in collaboration with the Senior L&D Officer.
You will need:
- The SLDO(ID) will hold relevant qualifications and have gained relevant experience; or have significant and relevant experience for the role.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment would be beneficial but not a requirement.
